Diamond Harmony is a women’s a cappella choir singing great contemporary songs in close harmony!

Our rehearsals are full of laughter and fun – friendship is as much a part of our choir as the singing itself, and we all love to sing. So whether we are learning wonderful, contemporary song arrangements or fantastic classics from yesteryear, we are all spurred on by the prospect of producing a sound that’s strong, inspiring, and a joy to hear.

We practise every week with breaks in the summer and at Christmas, and we make a point of putting in place a number of shows each year, often appearing for free at fundraising events to help raise money for good causes.

Diamond Harmony is a Tamworth choir for women. We love to sing unaccompanied four part harmony, which we do with the maximum of fun and laughter every week!

We learn a wide variety of songs old and new, and we are always ready to welcome new members interested in learning how to sing a cappella. Our goal is to make the most of our voices and to help raise funds for good causes by singing at events across the Midlands.

If you are thinking about joining a choir in Tamworth, it’s worth remembering that singing is a fun hobby known to release endorphins, the feel-good brain chemical that makes you feel upbeat and happy. It can also release muscle tension and decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol in your system. So singing is a wonderful way to take your mind off the day’s troubles and so lift your mood!

Diamond Harmony is a community choir and we enjoy singing great songs in four part harmony. We work hard to achieve a quality performance but we never lose sight of the fact that it’s very much a fun hobby – something we look forward to; a place to catch up with our friends and share something we all love. If you can sing in tune and you’d like to join, give us a call!

You don’t have to be of soloist standard. You just need a clear, average singing voice and lots of enthusiasm for singing a wide range of songs and having fun!  We are always on hand to help you with learning and if you’ve never sung in a choir before, don’t worry. Many of our members were in the same position when they started. All you really need to do is try your best and attend regularly, and we are sure you’ll get the most out of Diamond Harmony.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm every Tuesday at Newton Regis Village Hall. We do not meet in August.
